Hello! My name is Catie Howlett. I will be teaching your student this year. I wanted to take a moment and tell you a little about myself. I am starting my 17th year teaching. I have taught Special Education all of those years and have also been in the Raymore-Peculiar school district the whole time. I have a husband, Aaron, and two children, Emma and Lucian. My husband and I just celebrated 24 years of marriage and spend our time together serving at our church, Fellowship Church, in Raymore. My daughter Emma is 24 and is starting her 3rd year teaching at Eagle Glen intermediate. She teaches kindergarten and just loves it. My son Lucian is 17 and just starting his junior year of high school. He is in the marching band and plays the Quads in the drum line. We are very proud of them both.
My daughter and I coach Special Olympics for Raymore-Peculiar and my husband and son volunteer. It is something that is dear to our hearts and we enjoy doing. In our district we have bowling, basketball, and track.
